Dr. Edgardo Toro

DMD, Ph.D. – Orthodontist

Dr. Edgardo Toro DMD, Ph.D., is a dual-trained specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, with over 15 years of experience. He is a proud member of local and national dental associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Toro began his academic journey with a BA in Biology from the University of Missouri and later contributed to research on cancer and diabetes at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research in Washington, DC. He earned his dental degree and post-graduate certification in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, where he treated children with complex dental and medical needs for five years.

In 2008, he completed a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology and an orthodontic residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Toro combines his extensive training and patient-focused philosophy to create healthy, beautiful smiles tailored to each individual.
